Come celebrate the City of Conroe's rich history at the 1st Annual Conroe's Founder Day Celebration and Open House. Location is the Isaac Conroe Homestead, at 202 Avenue "A", 77301, and is a beautiful 2 story home that is currently FOR SALE, boasts great bones, the original hardwood floors cut from Isaac's mill and original shiplap siding under the sheetrock.

August 2nd, 1897, Isaac Conroe went to be with his Lord and Savior after a massive heart attack. Isaac Conroe is given undisputed credit for being THE reason Conroe, Texas is Conroe and the ONLY 'C O N R O E" that we can find in the USA!

The location of this 1st Annual celebration is often called, "The House That Built Conroe", as he built it for his loving and aristocratic wife in 1885. The home served as a temporary Montgomery County Courthouse and US Post Office with Isaac Conroe being the Postmaster General.

This is an OPEN HOUSE to ALL citizens, elected officials, business owners and realtors and brokers. Remember, this beautifully renovated and elegantly appointed home is FOR SALE if interested.
